How to order a Guitar
When you find a suitable guitar go to our contacts page and simply fill in your details.
In the message box state your requirements/specs and press the send button.
Once we receive your email we will contact you within 72 hours to confirm that we have received your request along with a new quote dependent on your requirements.
When you are ready to proceed with the purchase we will advise you how long it will take to have your guitar ready and arrange for a suitable deposit to be paid before the work is commenced on building your guitar.
Once the guitar is completed we will contact you to arrange delivery (at your expense) or a suitable pick up day.

Purchasing terms and conditions
Easy Purchase Plan
- A min of 25% deposit is required.
- A suitable term for repayments can be negotiated with Etherial
- We hold your guitar until you make your final payment
Please note: deposits are non refundable if you cancel after the cooling off period mentioned below. If the cooling off period has expired and you have made several payments and you decide to cancel your order, Etherial will refund all your payments minus the initial 25% deposit.
Payments
- Etherial Guitars will only accept cash, personal / bank cheques or money orders or C.O.D. Please read the deposit paragraph for further information about C.O.D
- Cheques will have to be cleared before any work on building a guitar to a customers specifications is carried out or a guitar is delivered. Please allow 7 working days for cheque clearance.
- If a customer pays a deposit or the full amount by cheque, Etherial will contact the customer to confirm they have received the cheque.
Deposits
- A minimum deposit of 25% of the purchase price is required before work is commenced on building a guitar to specifications or for a ready built guitar to be held for a length of time agreeable between the customer and Etherial.
- C.O.D is accepted only for the balance owing for a guitar that is built to a customers specification; a deposit will need to be paid first. Please read the cooling off period paragraph for refunds.
Cooling Off Period
- Once a deposit has been paid there will be a cooling off period of 7 working days to allow a customer to change their mind about their purchase and receive a full refund of their deposit.
- The cooling off period only applies to the first initial payment, whether it is a deposit of the full amount. It does not apply to any payments made after the first payment.
- If a customer pays a deposit or the full amount by cheque, the cooling off period begins 24 hrs after the confirmation by Etherial.
- Etherial will contact the customer on the last day of the cooling off period to notify them of the expiry of their cooling off period.
- Once the cooling off period has expired Etherial will not refund any or all monies paid by the customer.
Refunds and Returns
- Full refunds will be made to a customer during the 7 day cooling off period
- No refunds will be given after the cooling off period of 7 days (see above paragraph)
- No refunds will be given once the lutherist has commenced work on a special order
- Etherial Guitars are non returnable once they have been purchased, paid for and used by the customer. If the customer has an unforeseeable problem with an Etherial Guitar we will endeavor to do everything possible to rectify the problem to the customers satisfaction
Changing a customer's specifications
- If a customer decides to change any of their original specifications they should contact Etherial as soon as possible to find out if the changes can be made. Once the lutherist has reached a certain stage in making the guitar it may be too late to make any changes.
Warranty
- Etherial Guitars all carry a 12 month warranty on the workmanship and hardware.
- The warranty does not include wear and tear,misuse of the instrument or it's hardware components nor does it include the guitar strings.
- It is the customer's responsibility and at the customer's expense to return the guitar to Etherial for any warranty or repair work.
- Etherial will notifying the customer and advise them of any cost involved before carrying out any repairs that are necessary. The goods will not be returned to the customer until final payment of any repair work has been made.
- The return of an Etherial product back to the customer is at the customer's expense.
- Any warranty claim will be judged individually and subjected to the lutherist's findings.
